Makeup Collection: Powders

Hello everyone!

Today I am going to be sharing all of the powders I own. I may not have that many, but the ones I do have are great and really worth sharing:)

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder:
I am always really well stocked up with this powder because it is amazing at mattifying the skin. I have been a fan of this for years and I cannot even begin to imagine how many pans of this I have went through. You really wouldn't think that this powder costs under £4 for the job it does; I would pay so much more for it!

NYX HD Finishing Powder:
When I first discovered this powder I really liked it, and then I discovered the RCMA powder and I realised that this one just wasn't that great. This was the first loose powder I had tried and to be honest it is just too powdery and finely milled for me. More product ends up on the floor than what's actually on my face, so I find that a lot of product does get wasted which isn't great as you don't get a lot of product in this to start with. It's also a HD powder which is fine until you get your photo taken with the flash on- and then you look like a ghost!

RCMA No Colour Powder:
For about the last year and a half I have been setting my makeup in place with this loose powder. It locks my makeup in place and it doesn't budge all day, which is definitely what I need in a setting powder. It is translucent so it doesn't make my skin look super pale or super orange, and it really isn't badly priced considering one bottle has lasted me almost a year!

Kat Von D Lock It Setting Powder:
I have expressed my love for Kat Von D products, particularly base products, pretty regularly on my blog over the past year or so. The Lock It Setting Powder is the perfect addition to my makeup routine, setting my foundation in place flawlessly and making my skin appear brightened but blurred at the same time.

Makeup Revolution Loose Banana Powder:
Banana powders have been very popular in the beauty industry and I obviously had to jump on the bandwagon, so I bought this loose banana powder from Makeup Revolution last year. I am not really sure how I feel about this product if I am completely honest. I love the pressed banana powders in the Kat Von D Shade & Light palette and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit as I can control the amount of product I pick up on my brush and the powder actually brightens my under eye area too. I don't feel like this brightens my under eye area as much as some other banana powders do, and I always end up with too much product on my skin as it is a loose powder and once it's on the skin it's really hard to brush off in time before it settles. I am going to give this one last try and if I can't make it work then sadly I will have to pass it on to someone else.

Those are all of the powders I own; some of which I absolutely love and some not so much! Do you prefer loose powder or pressed powder?
