What To Do On Long Journeys

Hello everyone!

There is nothing worse than travelling for a long period of time and having absolutely nothing to do. We are coming up to the Summer holidays and many of you will be going on a holiday which requires quite a lengthy journey. In today's blog post I am going to be sharing with you what you can do when you're travelling.

Adult colouring books:
Adult colouring books have become so popular over the past few months. It seems like all bookstores and supermarkets have started selling these really popular colouring books. There are books designed for stress and anxiety; so if you have anxiety about travelling then these books would be perfect! The adult colouring books are sold in stores such as Asda, W H Smith, Waterstones and Amazon. They are all relatively cheap too:)

Books/magazines:
Whenever I travel I always spend a crazy amount of money on magazines. I also love a good book, so I usually take a new book with me too. Taking a book is also really good if you will just be sitting around all day on holiday as you can read your book when sitting around the pool/on the beach.

Games:
Games are really easy to access on your phone and many can be used without internet access. These are really good as many games are free to buy on the app store. I don't really play that many games on my phone, I prefer to read a good book or watch some YouTube.

Music/YouTube:
Listening to music can be really fun on a long journey, whether it is the radio or on your phone or iPod. Spotify is a really good app as you can listen to unlimited music and when you first sign up you can get a free trial, after that it is a few pounds a month. This option is way cheaper than buying CD's/buying music from iTunes. I am also obsessed with YouTube so watching a few makeup tutorials would be a great way to pass the time for me.

Plan blog posts:
If you are a fellow blogger then this one's for you! I love planning and writing blog posts because I love my blog, so you could take a note book with you and write down any blog post ideas that come to your mind whilst travelling or whilst at your destination. Not everyone will want to do this as a holiday is supposed to be for relaxing and taking time out, but I really don't mind because I love being creative and writing for this blog.

My favourite notebooks to plan blog posts in are from Getting Personal. I would definitely recommend that if you are looking for affordable personalised notebooks then you check out the website. The two I have are the 'Everyone Deserves To Sparkle Book' and 'Hiding Kitten Book'.

Enjoy the scenery:
Enjoying the scenery whilst travelling is another good way to pass the time, and it's completely free! I love driving through the countryside and absorbing all the beautiful scenes. If you are on an aeroplane then you get some lovely views too. Plus, there is no harm in taking a few Instagram photos on the journey!

Talk to others:
If you are travelling with others then talk to them to pass the time! You could play games, like eye spy, which can be really fun on a long journey. Or, have a big discussion with one another:)

Sleep:
If you are on an overnight journey then this is especially important as you will want to keep your energy levels up so that you can make the most of your holiday. Sleeping is one of the best ways to pass the time!

What do you like to do to pass the time on a long journey? Tell me in the comments.

Until next time,

Would You Rather Beauty Edition

Hello everyone!

As you all know by now, I love a good beauty tag, so that is what I am doing today! Today I am doing the would you rather tag; but obviously the beauty edition:)

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?
This is such a difficult question! I honestly wouldn't want to lose any of my makeup. I wouldn't really mind losing my eyeliners because I use the same eyeliner all the time, and I wouldn't mind losing my lip glosses either as I don't really like lip glosses that much. I would hate to lose my eye shadows and palettes because the majority of them are on the pricier side, but I have over 100 lipsticks so I wouldn't want to lose those either. As for mascaras, I have loads of those too so I wouldn't want to lose those.

2. Would you rather chop of all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I wouldn't really be that bothered if I could never get my hair cut again. I really look after my hair and it is really healthy, so it wouldn't bother me too much if I couldn't cut it ever again. I really wouldn't like to chop off all my hair though!

3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
To be honest, I would prefer a peach cheek. If I had to choose one though I would probably pick a coral cheek. I'm not really too crazy about pink blush, but coral is quite similar to peach.

4. If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
I would rather buy makeup, but it would all be high end makeup that I wouldn't usually buy for myself. I would probably end up spending a small fraction of the money on clothes too. If only I had that amount of money to spend on clothes and makeup!

5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?
I would rather apply lipstick as eyeliner. I would love that as I am loving the colourful eyeliner trend at the moment. But, if I wanted to do a simple black eyeliner then I would also be able to do that as there are quite a few black lipsticks on the market now.

6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
We don't have a Sephora in the UK (please make it a thing!) but I would definitely only shop at Sephora if we did have one because they sell so many amazing brands. It would get pretty boring if I could only buy MAC products.

7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
I would honestly rather wear one lip colour for the rest of my life. I love experimenting with new eye looks but I always seem to go back to the same lipstick.

8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Summer clothes in winter would be fine because you could just layer them up. Whereas, if you had winter clothes on in the summer then you would absolutely roast to death!

9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
When it comes to nails I'm not really that bothered. If I had to choose then I would choose bright nails. Some of my favourite nail polishes are from Barry M and they are all bright shades so that is why I would choose bright over dark.

10. Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or favourite eye product?
In reality, I wouldn't want to give up either. If I was forced to choose then I would give up my favourite eye product, which is the Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass palette. I wouldn't want to give up my favourite lip products (Kylie lip kits!) because they were SO hard to get my hands on and it required LOTS of late nights!

11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
I wear my hair in a ponytail pretty much everyday so I would have to choose the ponytail option for this one.

12. Would you rather never be able to paint your nails or never be able to wear lip gloss?
To be honest, I wouldn't really be bothered if I couldn't do either. I don't really paint my nails too often and I don't like lip gloss that much either. For the purpose of this post I would probably choose never be able to wear lip gloss again, it's always nice to paint your toenails fun colours in the Summer time!

13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have not at all or sharpie them in everyday?
I couldn't imagine my face, or anybody else's for that matter, without eyebrows! I would rather fill them in with a light brown sharpie and use a VERY light hand. With the right technique it wouldn't look that bad.

14. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
I would 100% live without nail polish rather than makeup! I couldn't imagine having to live without makeup. It wouldn't really bother me too much if I couldn't paint my nails ever again.

I hope that you enjoyed this fun little tag. Leave a link in the comments if you decide to do this tag too!

Until next time,

The Packaging I Just Can't Throw Away

Hello everyone!

As you can probably tell from this blog, I am a makeup junkie. Some of the makeup packaging, especially from higher end brands, is absolutely gorgeous. I have a little collection of makeup packaging which I think is aesthetically pleasing or that brings back memories when I look at it. I know that other people do this too, so it's not just me! Let me know in the comments if you save makeup packaging too:)

Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette:
This is one of my most recent makeup purchases. Both the palette itself and the box is absolutely stunning. I have wrote a few blog posts on this palette so I will leave links to those. I love the eye shadows and the packaging itself is simply stunning too!

MAC Warm Neutrals Palette:
This packaging isn't anything special; just the plain black matte packaging that is very recognisable as MAC. I kept this box because I was given this palette from my grandparents for Christmas and it was very expensive for an eyeshadow palette so I wanted to keep the box.

KIKO Intensely Lavish Lipstick in 05 Heavy Cherry:
I was given this lipstick by one of my friends for Christmas and it's absolutely stunning. I kept the box because it is one of my first KIKO lipsticks and the purple and rose gold details complement each other really well. This lipstick isn't available now as it was exclusive to the Rebel Romance collection at Christmas so that is another reason why I decided to keep the box.

MAC Prep and Prime Fix+ Spray & MAC Prep and Prime Lip:
The regular MAC packaging is matte black, but the Prep and Prime packaging is gorgeous. The packaging has blue and red glitter running through it. I have kept the box from my Fix+ spray and Lip Primer as I think that it is simply beautiful. The glitter is a lovely touch!

Benefit POREfessional & Benefit They're Real Mascara:
The Benefit packaging is nice but it isn't the nicest packaging I've ever seen. I kept both the packaging from the POREfessional and the They're Real because they were one of my first items that I bought from Benefit. One of the other reasons why I kept the boxes is because I bought both items on the ferry to France last year. They were both from the duty free so I justified buying them as they were a little cheaper than what they usually are:)

I would also like to mention that some inspiration for this post was taken from Charlotte (blog post here). I definitely recommend you all go and check out her blog, it's a good 'un!

That is all of the packaging I have kept over the years! What pretty packaging have you kept?

Shop this post: Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette (£43.00) // MAC Warm Neutrals Palette (£65.00) // KIKO Intensely Lavish Lipstick in 05 Heavy Cherry (£6.90) // MAC Prep and Prime Fix+ Spray (£17.00) // MAC Prep and Prime Lip (£13.50) // Benefit POREfessional Primer (£24.50) // Benefit They're Real Mascara (£19.50)

Currently Loving #2*

Hello everyone!

I prefer doing 'currently loving' posts a lot more than monthly favourites as some months I don't really have a lot of new products to talk about. I am going to make 'currently loving' posts every two or three months, and then I will have a decent amount of products to talk about. I have done a little bit of shopping in the past two months or so, and that means I have a lot of favourites to talk about today:)

NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray:
I have been trying out a few different setting sprays. Over the past few weeks I have been trying the NYX Matte Finish setting spray. I actually prefer this setting spray over the L'Oreal Infallible spray that I have mentioned in a few different blog posts. I love that with this setting spray you don't actually need to use a pressed powder because the spray gives a matte finish to the skin. Definitely a multi purpose product that is a staple in any makeup bag! The mist sprays very finely and doesn't feel heavy on the skin, which can be a problem with other setting sprays. I would definitely recommend you give this a go if you are looking for a setting spray that really pro longs makeup wear and mattifies the skin at the same time:)

NYX Eyelash Curlers:
A few months ago I lost my eyelash curlers and I never went and picked any new ones up for some reason. When I was browsing the new NYX counter in my local Boots store I picked up some NYX lash curlers. Pretty basic, but I still wanted to include them in this post anyway!

Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette:
I actually did a full blog post reviewing this palette but I wanted to include it in this post because I am absolutely in love with the palette! I have really been experimenting with different eye looks recently, and I have been stepping out of my comfort zone by using more colourful shades. This palette has every single eye shadow in that you will ever need, and I will definitely be getting a lot of eye looks from it! I have also done a makeup tutorial using this palette which you can read here:)

Caspar Lee by Caspar Lee and Emily Riordan Lee:
I absolutely love the concept of the self titled biography that Caspar Lee and his mom (Emily!) released at the end of May. I read the book in about two days because I just couldn't put it down, and I am now re reading it for the second time! I would definitely recommend you give this book a read, it's very entertaining and all round amazing. I also love that it was written by Caspar's mom and then Caspar has added things in too.

GOSH Lip Oil in Rose
I have recently been loving the GOSH Rose Lip Oil. I was sent this by Superdrug a little while ago and I really wasn't expecting much as I don't usually like glossy lips. But, I was very pleasantly surprised! I love this lip oil because it isn't too oily on the lips, it's really moisturising and it just slightly tints the lips a rosy pink shade. This is very comparable to the Clarins lip oil, and also very similar to the new Barry M lip oils.

Me Before You Book & Film
I recently went to see Me Before You at the cinema. I absolutely loved the film and I have started reading the book now. It is definitely worth reading, watching or both! Let me know in the comments if you have read the book or watched the film, and what you thought of it.

Collectables Smoked Effect Mason Jar
I really wanted a mason jar style glass to put drinks in and when I saw Collectables had them on sale I bought one! The one I got has a smoked effect to the glass, which I love, and it is very sturdy. I like the shabby chic effect that it has and it was a bargain at just £1.99!

Urban Fruit Dried Pineapple
I have also been loving two different snacks. The first is dried pineapple from Urban Fruit. I have tried a lot of the different Urban Fruit snacks but the pineapple is definitely my favourite. All of their fruits never have anything extra added to them, it is all just the fruit.

BEAR YoYo's
The other snack that I have been loving is the BEAR YoYo's. This is another random snack but I wanted to mention them because I have been loving them. There are 6 different flavours of these YoYo's and my favourite flavour is the mango. You get two YoYo's in each packet and they count as one of your five a day.

That was everything that I have been loving recently. Tell me in the comments what you have been loving lately:)

Shop this post: NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray (£7.00) // NYX Eyelash Curlers (£5.00) // Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette (£43.00) // Caspar Lee Book (£8.00) // GOSH Lip Oil in Rose (£7.49) // Me Before You Book (£3.85) // Collectables Smoked Effect Mason Jar (£1.99) // Urban Fruit Dried Pineapple (£1.50) // BEAR YoYo's (£0.60 each)

Summer Proof Makeup

Hello everyone!

Summer has arrived in the UK (finally!) and that means sun, sea and sweat! I still like to wear makeup in the Summer heat, if we actually get any, and I know that a lot of other people do too. Today I am going to be sharing with you my top tips on keeping your makeup looking fresh throughout the Summer heat. At the end of this post I am also going to be sharing my recommendations that are perfect for Summer makeup:)

1. Less makeup is more
I usually like a full coverage makeup look but in the Summer this can be too much as the makeup will just slip around your skin. Wearing lighter makeup like a BB/CC cream is more suitable for the Summer weather as they usually contain SPF and are a lot lighter on the skin.

2. Primer will be your best friend
I wear a primer under my makeup all year round but this is especially important in the Summer time. Primers are really great as they act as a glue for your makeup, and really extends the longevity of the makeup.

3. Switch out foundation
As mentioned earlier, it is a good idea to wear minimal makeup in the Summer. One way you can do this is by swapping your regular foundation with a BB/CC cream or tinted moisturiser. I find that if I wear a thick foundation in the Summer it cakes up really easily and melts off my face. What I love about BB creams is that they usually have some sort of SPF in them and they aren't too heavy on the skin. They usually offer a light coverage, and if you want a bit more coverage then you can apply concealer on any areas that need covering.

4. Use a setting spray
I have been trying out a few setting sprays recently in time for the Summer heat (I will share some of my favourites at the end of this post!) and I have found a few that really extend the time that I am able to wear my makeup. I really want to try out some of the Urban Decay setting sprays so let me know in the comments which ones you have tried and what you think of them:)

5. Waterproof
I like to switch out some of my makeup products to waterproof versions, especially when I am going to the beach and I know that I will be going in the sea. There is nothing worse than looking like a panda at the end of the day because your mascara has melted all over your face!

6. Use silicon based products rather than oil based
Oil based products can make your face look greasy and oily. Instead, switch oil based products with silicon based products. The silicon makes your makeup last longer and it won't make your face look oily.

7. Cream products
Cream products, such as blushers, will last a lot longer through the heat than powder products will. If you don't like the way that cream products look then you can always set them with powder products afterwards. This will mean that your makeup lasts a LOT longer than powder products on their own.

8. Blotting sheets
Always carry blotting sheets with you to absorb any excess oil throughout the day. You can also carry a mattifying powder with you, but your makeup may look cakey if you continuously apply it. If you don't have blotting sheets or powder then you can use tissue paper or a napkin instead.

9. Carry your makeup bag with you!
I do this anyway, but it is always good to carry around makeup that you can use to touch up your face throughout the day! I like to carry around the lipstick that I am wearing that particular day, a concealer, pressed powder and lip balm.

Products to consider: Korres Wild Rose CC Cream (£26.00) // Rimmel Stay Matte Primer (£5.99) // Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer (£6.99) // Benefit PoreFessional Primer (£24.50) // L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer (£7.99) // L'Oreal Infallible Fixing Mist (£7.99) // NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray (£7.00) // L'Oreal Infallible Sculpt Contouring Palette (£9.99) // Benefit High Beam (£19.50) // B. Cosmetics Whipped Blush in Peach (£5.99) // Sleek Creme To Powder Blush in French Rose (£5.99) // Makeup Revolution The One Blush Stick Collection (£14.99) // MAC Paint Pots (£16.00 each) // Maybelline Colour Tattoos (£4.99 each) // Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19) // Collection Lasting Perfection Powder (£4.19) // Korres Mandarin Lip Butter Sticks (£8.00 each)

I hope that you enjoyed this post and that these tips are useful to you! Let me know in the comments if you have tried any of the items I recommended:)

The Summer Tag

Hello everyone!

I love a good tag blog post, so that is exactly what I am going to be doing today! I have probably done this tag before but I honestly can't remember as I do SO many tag posts on this blog.

1. What is your favourite thing about Summer?
For me, as I live in the UK, it isn't really about the weather in the Summer time. I love when it is still really light outside at 10pm. I hate the dark nights in the Winter!

2. Do you have a favourite Summer drink?
There isn't a drink that I prefer to have in the Summer rather than the Winter, but it HAS to be something cold! I really like the Juice Burst drinks, especially the orange and carrot flavour, but I do drink those all year round. I also really like the Lipton lemon iced tea.

3. Is there a location you like to go to each Summer?
I love going to the beach and getting a 99 with a flake:) I also love going in the sea, even if it is always freezing cold!

4. Favourite makeup look for Summer?
I like a nice simple makeup look for the Summer as I don't like layering my face with makeup as I always end up sweating it all off. I love a peachy blusher, like MAC Peachykeen, and a lip oil.

5. Dresses or skirts?
I love both to be honest. I like pairing crop tops with maxi skirts or midi skirts, but I also love a good flowy Summer dress.

6. Sandals or ballet pumps?
Both are really easy to slip on and take off at the beach, but I do prefer sandals. I especially like pairing sandals with dresses.

7. Do you prefer to wear your hair up or down for Summer?
A messy bun is definitely a must in the Summer, especially when it is really hot and humid. There is nothing worse than having your hair all over your face and neck when it is really hot.

8. Deep smokey eyes or bold lips?
I prefer a deep smokey eye with a nude lip. I am not really into bold lips for everyday wear, I tend to just stick to a nude lip and a more glamorous eye look. My favourite palette for creating a smokey eye is the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette.

9. Favourite perfume for Summer?
Fruity scents are my absolute favourite in the Summer time. I don't necessarily go for perfumes though, I love a good fruity body spray. One of my favourite Summer scent is the Soap & Glory Sugarcrush range. This range is really refreshing and is available in a number of different body products.
10. Favourite music for Summer?
I love upbeat music all year round. Some of my favourite songs at the moment are:

  • Can't Stop The Feeling by Justin Timberlake
  • Tears by Clean Bandit ft. Louisa Johnson
  • No Money by Galantis
  • Cake By The Ocean by DNCE
  • Perfect Strangers by Jonas Blue
  • Don't Mind by Kent Jones
  • Treat You Better by Shawn Mendes
I hope that you enjoyed this fun tag! Let me know in the comments what other blog posts you would like to see in the future:)

Until next time,

An Introduction To Studio 10 Makeup*

Hello everyone!

I was recently sent a few bits from the brand Studio 10 to try out. I decided to write a blog post dedicated to the products that I have been trying out, as I have been loving them! Cary on reading to see my thoughts on their Skin Perfecter Concealer Palette, Long Lasting Velvet Liquid Lipstick and Longwear Double Ended Liner.

Skin Perfecter Concealer Palette:
I was so excited to try out this little concealer palette as I have recently seen it mentioned on a few other beauty blogs. I must say, I am very impressed with this palette so far. I have used it a handful of times since I received it and it has definitely become a staple in my makeup bag. I love the green concealer for correcting redness and the more peachy toned shade for covering darkness under the eyes. All of the shades are really creamy and they blend out really well on the skin. This palette is also travel friendly as the packaging is very compact and sturdy. I definitely recommend that you pick up this palette if you are looking for good quality cream concealer products, that really do cover everything you want covering!

Long Lasting Velvet Touch Liquid Lipstick in Tea Rose:
I have been obsessed with liquid lipsticks recently so I was very excited to try this one out. The shade is a very pretty rose shade. These liquid lipsticks do not dry fully matte, but I really like the finish that they give. They aren't at all drying on the lips like some liquid lipsticks can be. The staying power is generally good; lasting around 4 or 5 hours before needing a top up. I love that these just glide straight onto the lips really easily and don't set into dry patches like most liquid lipsticks tend to do.

Longwear Eye Liner in 02 Mocha:
When I first opened the package from Studio 10 I thought that this product was actually an eyebrow pencil. But it's not, it is a double ended eyeliner pencil. This is in the shade 02 Mocha; one end is a dark brown shade and the other is a peachy shade. I am not really a fan of dark brown eyeliner so I don't think I will get much use from that end of the pencil, but I love the peach shade. I have been applying the light peach shade in my lower waterline which makes the eyes look really awake. The eyeliner pencil is very creamy. I did find that the eyeliner basically disappeared from my eyes after about 30 mins of being on my eyes, but that is all a result of hayfever! My eyes water like crazy in the Summer time so I will be testing this eyeliner pencil out again once my eyes have calmed down a bit:)

I hope that you enjoyed today's post. Have you tried any Studio 10 makeup? What did you think?

Shop this post: Studio 10 Skin Perfecter Concealer Palette (£32.00) // Studio 10 Long Lasting Velvet Liquid Lipstick in Tea Rose (£22.00) // Studio 10 Longwear Liner in 02 Mocha (£22.00)

Until next time,

Travel Makeup Bag

Hello everyone!

I am going on a little holiday soon and I thought that I would share with you all of the items that are in my travel makeup bag. I do take a lot of makeup with me, because I like plenty of options:)

I bought my makeup bag from Primark about a year or so ago. It is really cute! I don't think it is still available to buy but it is very spacious and you can fit a lot of products in too. I can even fit my palettes and brushes in here!

L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer
I always use a primer before doing my makeup I packed the L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying primer. This has a silicon texture to it and is really smooth on the skin. I do like a matte finish to my makeup, so I generally use a lot of mattifying products.

No7 Instant Radiance Concealer
I have been loving this concealer recently as it is really illuminating for under the eyes, and I have been using it to prime my eyes too.

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25hr Foundation
I love this foundation for the Summer time as it has SPF and is really lightweight on the skin, despite being a full coverage foundation. This foundation lasts really well on my skin, even when it is very hot and humid, and it blends out really well too.

Rimmel Clear Complexion Pressed Powder
I normally use the Rimmel Stay Matte powder but I didn't have any of that left, so I took the Clear Complexion powder instead. This has nearly ran out, as you can see from the picture, so I definitely need to repurchase. I would say that I prefer the Stay Matte powder but I still like this one and I will use it up.

Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit
I love this little contour kit from Barry M! You get three different shades in this palette; highlighter, bronzer and contour shade. I wouldn't say that the highlighter shade is my favourite, but I love the bronzer and contour shade. This is perfect for travel as the packaging is really sturdy and compact. Definitely worth a try if you like cool toned powder contour shades!

Benefit High Beam
I have really been getting into cream products recently. One of my favourites is the Benefit High Beam. This is a really great highlighter but it is also amazing when mixed with foundation, as it gives a gorgeous glow to the skin.

Benefit Rockateur Blush
You probably all know this by now, but this is my all time favourite blusher. Just look how pretty the blush is in the packaging! It is a gorgeous peachy shade which is definitely my all time favourite blush shade.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette
I always take an eyeshadow palette on holiday with me. This time I decided to take the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette which I love because you can create SO many different looks with this; both natural daytime looks as well as glam night time looks.

Soap & Glory Supercat Eye Liner

For eyeliner I have been loving the Soap & Glory Supercat eye liner. This is a felt tip liner, I always find these the easiest to apply.

Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara
It will be no surprise that I will be taking the Rimmel Volume Colourist mascara with me on holiday. I have mentioned this mascara so many times on my blog, I just love it! It gives the lashes lots of volume and length so there is no need for falsies.

NYX Lip Lingerie in Ruffle Trim
I like to take a few different lip options so that I can change my look up a bit. The first lip product I am going to be taking is the NYX Lip Lingerie in Ruffle Trim which is a liquid lipstick. I am actually not going to take my Kylie Jenner lip kits with me as they can get a little messy so it is best to store them upright. The NYX liquid lipsticks are just a little thicker in texture, but they are slightly drying on the lips.

KIKO Smart Lipstick in 917 Mauve Pink
I am also taking a KIKO lipstick in the shade Mauve Pink. This shade is exactly as the name suggests; a mauve pink! This is not a matte lipstick, which is very unusual for me, but I love the formula of these lipsticks. This has a slight shimmer running through it and is perfect for a night time lip; not too bold but not a typical nude either. Love the smell of these lipsticks too:)

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colour in Addiction
I am taking a bolder lip option too, which is from Revlon. It is a matte liquid lipstick and it's a gorgeous berry shade. This is definitely not something that I would wear on an everyday basis but I love the shade and it pairs lovely with a shimmery nude eye.

NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray
I am loving setting sprays recently and I have been trying out lots of drugstore ones. My favourite one so far is the NYX Matte Finish setting spray. If there are any other drugstore setting sprays worth a try then let me know in the comments!

That is everything in my makeup bag that I will be taking with me on holiday. Let me know in the comments what is in your travel makeup bag:)
