CODE VLM Mini Mascara Review!*

Hello everyone!

Today I am going to be sharing my opinion on the new CODE VLM Mini Mascara, which was very kindly sent to me. I have been testing it out for a little while now and I am going to tell you exactly what I think about it:)
This mascara is £10.00 and the full sized version is £19.95, but the mini is perfect for putting in your handbag for top ups during the day.

Firstly, CODE VLM is not tested on animals, which I think is very important. There are a lot of claims about this mascara and I am going to go through all of these and tell you whether (I think!) they are true;
  • "For length, thickness, volume, separation & curl"- Applying just one layer of this mascara really made a difference to my lashes, gave them a lot of volume whilst curling them and giving them a lot of length too.
  • "No smudges, clumps of flakes"- The mascara did not clump on my lashes and did not smudge or flake throughout the day.
  • "Build your look from day to night, natural to dramatic"- One coat of this mascara gave my lashes a nice natural look but it is very buildable and two or three coats made them look really dramatic and bold.
  • "Tear proof for those emotional moments"- I used my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (what I usually use to remove my makeup) and it removed really easily, I did not try it out whilst crying though!
  • "Kind to lashes with vitamins & waxes to encourage lash growth"- I cannot say whether my lashes have grown but they always feel super soft since I starts using this mascara.
You are also given three simple instructions on how to apply the mascara correctly...

ROOTS: Pop the brush onto your lashes as close to the roots as you can.
WIGGLE: Give the brush a good wiggle back and forth.
ROLL: Roll the brush from root to tip.

Overall, I loved this mascara as everything it claimed was true, it is definitely my new favourite mascara!

Until next time,
Emily xo
